What can I use garlic and herb seasoning on?

My garlic & herb seasoning is delicious in so many meals. You can easily substitute your usual salt and pepper for my garlic herb seasoning, and I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Here are a few ways I like to use garlic herb seasoning:
-As a dry rub for oven roasted chicken or grilled T-bone steak
-Added to soups or stews for extra flavor
-Sprinkled on veggies, like my oven roasted cauliflower or crispy roasted potatoes
-To infuse oil
-Added to mashed potato
-On popcorn for a tasty snack
-As an extra flavor kick in bread dough!

And these are just a few of the many ways you can use this seasoning. Have some fun and experiment, and you might even find your family’s new favorite recipe!

Can you use fresh herbs instead of dried ones?

I love using fresh, earthy herbs when I cook. But in this case, dried herbs are best. We want to be able to store our garlic and herb seasoning for future use, and fresh herbs just don’t last as long.

With that being said, if you have a herb garden and an abundance of fresh herbs, you can absolutely harvest and preserve herbs yourself to use in this recipe!

How long does garlic herb seasoning last?

If stored in an airtight container, my herb and garlic seasoning will stay fresh at room temperature for months. I like to keep mine in a Mason jar, and then I just give it a little shake before using to get everything nice and mixed up.
