I LOVE cooking with ground beef for a few reasons {we always have a freezer full!} and one of those reasons is......it's easy to cook when it's frozen.

HA. You think I'm kidding? Nope.

I am the worst at remembering to get the meat out of the fridge the day before I need it, and ground beef just makes my life easier. Pop that frozen pound into the pan with a lid and you can still have dinner ready in a flash.

How to use Frozen Ground Beef

Place frozen ground beef in a pan over low heat, covered with a lid.
When the bottom is lightly browned, flip the frozen ground beef over, scrape the top with a spatula to remove the cooked and thawed ground beef.
Repeat flipping and scraping until you can break up the frozen ground beef completely!

I also love that ground beef is super affordable! If you know me, you know I love a deal. We usually have a freezer stocked with ground beef but when we need to buy it, I always buy it in bulk. You can usually find ground beef for a great price during sales. Even if you can't use it all right away, divide it into 1 pound quantities. Then, put them in a quart-sized freezer bag and make the ground beef as flat as possible. That way they are easy to thaw out!
