Ingredients For Herb Crusted Filet Of Salmon
- Panko bread crumbs
- Parmesan
- Parsley
- Garlic powder
- Salt
- Dill
- Rosemary
- Red pepper flakes
- Dijon mustard
- Butter
- Lemon zest
- Salmon filets
- Olive oil

Instructions For Salmon With An Herb Crust
- Preheat oven to 450ºF.
- Combine the panko, parmesan cheese, spices, and herbs. Mix well and set aside.
- Combine the dijon mustard, butter, and lemon zest.
- Place the salmon filets on a lined baking sheet.
- Spread the mustard mixture evenly over the top of the salmon.
- Spread the panko mixture even over the salmon, pressing it down lightly into the mustard mixture.
- Drizzle the tops with olive oil.
- Bake for 11-14 minutes if using fresh filets, 15-18 minutes if using frozen. The salmon will register 135-145ºF on an instant-read thermometer when it is finished cooking.

I have made this recipe with both fresh and frozen salmon, and I honestly can’t tell much of a difference! However, if you are using frozen salmon, you will need to cook it for a few minutes longer than if you were using fresh, as shown in the recipe.
Of course! I have used herbs that I feel best compliment the salmon, but you can absolutely change it up to suit your own taste. If you don’t like one of the herbs I’ve used, feel free to leave it out or replace it with something else.
