Frozen ravioli bake is a delicious and quick weeknight meal! Easy to prepare and tastes amazing. The whole family will love this tasty recipe.

A frozen ravioli bake is a delicious and cheesy dinner that is sure to have everyone excited to lick their plates clean. With minimal ingredients and hardly any time in the kitchen, you can have a baked ravioli lasagna in the oven and in 30 minutes have a home-cooked meal that tastes as if you slaved away for hours.

Using fresh or frozen ravioli to help make this dish doesn’t take away from the homecooked feeling from this dish. It does, however, save you from messy counters, hours of intensive labor and a lot of dirty dishes and clothes! A pretty fair trade-off if you ask me.

Using your favorite marinara sauce to pull this recipe together ensures that you’ll be getting those good tomato sauce flavors that you’re already used to. What that means is that you’ll love this baked ravioli because it’s made with ingredients that you know.

How to Make this Frozen Ravioli Bake

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium-sized skillet, brown your ground beef.
  3. Add in the garlic and the basil and cook for 1 more minute.
  4. In an 8×8 pan, spread 1/4 cup of the sauce in the bottom of the pan.
  5. Lay down one layer of ravioli.
  6. Spread ⅓ of the remaining sauce on top.
  7. Top with ⅓ of the mozzarella cheese.
  8. Repeat for two more layers.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and continue to bake until the cheese is bubbly (about 10 more minutes).

Should you thaw frozen ravioli before cooking?

If you want to make this recipe using frozen ravioli, I have some great news. You do not need to prep the ravioli in any way. What this means is that you simply take a frozen bag of ravioli, open it, and take out the frozen pasta to use as directed.

You don’t need to boil or thaw it ahead of time, making this dish so much easier and quicker to prepare.

Which Ravioli type should I use?

There are many different ravioli out there with different types of filling options to choose from. With there being everything from mushrooms to cheese and meats, you can select the ravioli with the filling that you and your family like the best.

Try this dish a few different times with different types of ravioli to see what the majority rules as their favorite.

What goes with frozen ravioli bake?

Like with many other Italian inspired or flavored dishes, this ravioli bake would taste great paired with a nice fresh salad and garlic bread. You can even pair a great make-ahead chocolate dessert for afterward if you plan dinner far enough in advance.
