The best caesar salad dressing recipe you’ve been looking for! Tangy, creamy, and delicious!

This tasty caesar salad dressing is delicious, creamy, and easy to make at home. Avoid the stores, long lines, and bottled taste by making this fresh caesar dressing at home using real whole ingredients.

Don’t you just love the taste of a tangy Caesar salad dressing over the top of some crisp green lettuce? It tastes so good any time of the year, but especially during the warmer months when it’s too hot to cook!

Thankfully I don’t have to go far to get my caesar salad because I have the best caesar salad dressing recipe made with stuff within my own home.

You don’t have to venture far either. You can make this easy caesar salad dressing at home and enjoy a tasty salad whenever you feel like it. This is a great way to save money and avoid long wait times!

Another great tip is to keep unused anchovies in your freezer so that they’re always on hand to make this dressing. Trust me, it’s a great tip and your caesar salad will thank you for it.

There are so many wonderful options out there for caesar salad dressing besides using in a salad. Once you know how to make caser salad dressing you may find yourself venturing out, even more, to try new recipes and find an excuse to use it!

You can use this simple salad dressing as an ingredient in your next pasta salad or over some cooked chicken. Can you picture how great that would taste? Yum!

Okay so if all that doesn’t tempt you into running to the kitchen to make a fresh batch of dressing maybe the simple 2 step process to make them will. That’s right, it’s so easy and all you have to is two steps!

You can have it made from start to finish in just a few moments. It can’t get any quicker or easier than that!

How to make caesar salad dressing

  • Combine all of your salad dressing ingredients in a blender, food processor, or in a mixing bowl and using an immersion blender.
  • Blend them together until smooth.

Note that you can use anchovies paste instead of an anchovy fillet. The recipe card has the details on that. 😉

Does Caesar dressing have raw eggs?

While traditional caesar dressing does contain raw eggs, this recipe does not. Instead of using raw eggs, we use mayonnaise (which is made of eggs) but completely safe to eat as-is.

This makes it a great salad dressing to enjoy without the fear of raw eggs.

How to store leftover dressing

I keep my leftover dressings stored in a mason jar with a fitted dressing pour spout. You can keep yours stored the same way or keep it stored in another airtight container in the fridge.

It should last up to a week this way, just shake or stir before use to help mix everything back together if it separates.
