There is never a wrong time to enjoy chocolate and mint together. Mint Oreo truffles are a dessert that outshines cake balls but is eerily similar in appearance and instructions.

In fact, if you’ve ever made a cake pop, you’re probably going to excel with this recipe. But don’t worry, this recipe is so easy to follow along with that anyone can do it (including the kids).

Putting a bowl or platter full of mint Oreo truffles out for dessert or snacks at a holiday party or office potluck can help you to please the masses. What makes them such a great addition to the table is the pure simplicity of the ingredients and the minimal effort on your part.

How often do you get told about a food-bringing gathering at the last minute and stress to find a large side dish for $10 or under? That list gets even more stressful when you take your time and other priorities into consideration.

Desserts like Oreo truffles require 3 ingredients, Oreos, cream cheese, and mint chocolate. Using any brand of chocolate, off-brand Oreos, and cheap cream cheese can have you fitting this little mint truffle recipe fitting into your tight budget and still taste just as great!

How far in advance can you make Oreo truffles?

These mint Oreo truffles can last up to 3 weeks if properly stored within the fridge. Once the chocolate has set, you can safely place all of them inside an airtight container and keep them in the fridge. The good news is that they are conveniently portioned into easy to grab sizes so chances are they will be eaten long before those 3 weeks is up!
