I am so excited about this animal health records spreadsheet I've made! I'll give you a little rundown on how to use it in this post so you have an idea of what you're getting when you purchase it.
First is the Sharing & Information Sheet. This is where you get a {very} mini Excel lesson and are able to access the website {top graphic} or share the link to download spreadsheet {side graphic}.
First is the sheet for all your canine companions. In this sheet, you will enter your information at the top and then the rest of the sheets will auto-fill off of what you enter there. If you want different information in that area on a sheet, no problem. Just delete what's in the cell and type what you'd like there.
To navigate between animal health record sheets, you can use the arrow selectors at the bottom and then click on the sheet you'd like to view. Dogs, cats, laying chickens, meat chickens, horses, steers, etc.
I tried to make this as comprehensive as possible which may mean you don't need all of the animal health record sheets. There are two options for dealing with that:
- Delete the sheets you don't want.
- Arrange the sheets with the most used ones first and ignore the others.
I tend to like option #2 just in case you do get another species at some point. I also realize that you may have sheep or alpacas or some other animal that isn't on my sheet. The goat sheet will sub well for sheep, just copy the entire sheet {right-click on the sheet name and select "move or copy"} and rename it for the species of your choice.
When viewing information in the animal health record sheets, everything above the headers is frozen. This means you can scroll and scroll and scroll without losing the top portion of the sheet {see blue highlighted are in photo below}. When you first start filling the sheet, just be sure you are starting at the top!
Be sure you are scrolling far enough to the right as well, some sheets have many more categories than the others. If you would like to add a category, copy an existing one and paste it where you'd like it to go.
This animal records sheet should be pretty straightforward. If you aren't great at Excel, don't worry. All you should have to do is fill in the cells.
