    Easy Non-Alcoholic Cranberry Christmas Punch

This is one of my favorite drink recipes to serve for Christmas dinner or any kind of holiday party. It is so beautiful but couldn't be easier to make!

Adding sliced oranges to Christmas punch recipe.

    Ingredients in Cranberry Christmas Punch

    • Cranberry Sprite
    • Cranberry juice
    • Oranges
    • Whole cranberries
    • Vanilla extract

For the exact amounts needed, please see the recipe card below.

    How to make Christmas Punch

    1. Set aside around ½ a cup of the whole cranberries.
    2. Slice your oranges into thin rounds.
    3. (Optional) Slice some zest from the oranges for garnishing.
    4. In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine all the ingredients.
    5. Stir gently to mix all ingredients together.
    6. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
    7. Serve with whole cranberries and orange zest as garnishes.

Tips for making Cranberry Christmas Punch

    • The constant in the recipe needs to be the Cranberry Sprite, it adds the fizz and flavor that makes the drink special. You can get creative when choosing what juice to pair with the Sprite! I usually do some variation of cranberry, cran-raspberry and cran-apple are our favorites.
    • You can even use a frozen juice mix if that's what you have on hand. Just mix it up according to the package directions and add that in place of the bottled juice.
    • The sliced oranges add a hint of citrus that is just another beautiful flavor layer in this festive Christmas punch recipe! Don't skip adding them.
    • I also add whole cranberries, these are mainly just for looks but do add flavor to the drink over time. They just look so pretty in the serving container!

How to serve Non-Alcoholic Christmas Punch

As usual, you can serve this up as fancy or simple as you'd like. If you want to go all-out, rub some orange on the rim of your glasses and then dip them in sugar. This will give you that beautifully frosted edge you see in these pictures.

I also love to add a few slices of orange zest and some whole cranberries to the glasses for some extra-special Christmas cheer. However you serve it, this Christmas punch is a crowd pleaser and such a great recipe!

    Easy Christmas Punch FAQs

How do you make a Christmas Punch with rum?

If you want to make this non-alcoholic punch a bit more festive, you can add some rum. One cup of rum for every two cups of cranberry juice should do the trick!

Alternatively, you can leave a bottle of rum close by so guests can add it to their individual punch cups.

What is a substitute for cranberries in punch?

If you don't have cranberries on hand, you can substitute them with pomegranate seeds, sliced strawberries, raspberries, or red currants. Essentially, any fruit with a tart but sweet flavor will work well in this punch!

    Ingredients

    • 2 liters cranberry Sprite
    • 64 ounces cranberry juice (see note)
    • 3 oranges (sliced)
    • 12 ounces whole cranberries
    • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

    Instructions

    • Combine all ingredients.
    • I like to leave about ½ cup of the cranberries aside for garnish.
    • You can also slice the zest from the oranges and set aside for garnish before slicing them and adding them to the drink.

    Notes

You can use all cranberry juice or a combination of cranberry and whatever else you like. We love this Christmas punch with cran-raspberry or cran-apple juice as well.
If you'd like to use frozen juice, just mix the frozen juice as directed on the package and use that in place of the bottled juice.
