Melissa Griffiths
These Easy Garlic Knots made with frozen dinner rolls are about to become your new favorite side dish. Golden, buttery, and irresistibly soft - they're ready before you know it!
12frozen dinner rolls(thawed enough to roll and shape)
4tablespoonsbutter
1tablespoongarlic(minced)
2teaspoonsItalian seasoning
½teaspoonsalt
Instructions
Note: The rolls need to be thawed out enough to be soft but still slightly cold. You want to be able to roll out the dough into ropes and shape the knots. This will take anywhere from 3-5 hours on the countertop or, if you've planned ahead, let them sit in the refrigerator overnight.
Preheat oven to 400ºF.
Melt butter in a pan and add garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt. After the butter is melted and the seasonings mixed in, remove from heat.
Roll the dough into 6-inch long ropes., and loop the ropes into knots.
Place on a lined baking sheet, leaving a bit of room between for expansion. Let rise for 15-20 minutes.
Brush with the melted butter mixture.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are nicely golden brown and done on the inside.

Remove the water pan before baking for incredibly tender results.Scaling Recipe: This recipe doubles or triples easily for larger gatherings without any adjustments to technique or timing. Multiple sheet pans can be baked simultaneously on different oven racks. Rotate pans halfway through for even browning across all knots.Storage: Store cooled garlic knots in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. They can also be frozen after baking and cooling for up to 3 months.
