Notes
A pour spout for mason jars makes pouring and storing your syrup incredibly convenient, but any glass jar with a tight-fitting lid works well too.
For a silkier syrup without berry pieces, simply strain the finished syrup through a fine-mesh sieve while it's still warm.

If the syrup becomes too thick after refrigeration, simply warm it gently with a splash of water. If you prefer a thicker syrup initially, let it simmer 2-3 minutes longer.
