For the Pork Ground Tacos

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 7 ounces salsa verde (one small can)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon salt

For Serving

  • pineapple (canned or fresh, diced)
  • white onion (diced)
  • cilantro (fresh)
  • queso fresco
  • tortillas

Instructions
 

  • In a medium skillet, heat oil until shimmering.
  • Add pork and cook until browned.
  • Add garlic and cumin and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Add the salsa verde, honey, and salt and simmer for 3-5 minutes or until most of the liquid is evaporated.
  • Serve on tortillas of your choice or fry into tacos.
  • Top with desired toppings.
