How to Start Seeds Indoors

Put 2 inches of peat moss in the bottom of your seed starting containers.

Fill the seed starting containers almost all the way full with moistened, moisture control soil.

Plant 2 seeds in each container, pressing them just below the surface of the soil.  Sprinkle with water.

Spread a thin, even layer of Vermiculite over the top of the seedlings. This keeps moisture in.

Place seedling containers on heat mats and under grow lights.

Keep seedlings continually moist until they sprout. Then water enough so that the soil is never dry but isn't soggy.

Transfer seedlings outside only AFTER the last frost date for your area.
