Combine the cream cheese and mayonaise until creamy.
Slice the jalapeno in half lengthwise and remove the ribs and membranes.
Dice the jalapeno into small pieces, add to the spread.
Add the garlic, salt, and lime juice.
For the Burgers
Divide the Ground Beef into 4 equal sections. Shape into hamburger patties.
Season with salt and pepper.
Cook on the grill or stovetop until done. The internal temperature will register 165ºF on an instant read thermometer.
For Assembly
If desired melt cheese on top of the hamburgers as they finish cooking.
Spoon and the jalapeno spread onto the bottom of the bun.
Place the burger on the spread. Top as desired.
Notes
Instead of salt and pepper, you can season the Burgers with your favorite Beef seasoning. The jalapeno spread will have a medium spice as written. Use 1 jalapeno for mild spice and more for an intense spice.
