butter

strawberry puree

Instructions
To make the strawberry puree, smash or blend enough strawberries to get 3/4 cup - about 1 - 1 1/4 cups of strawberries with the tops cut off.
Whip the butter until it is smooth and combined.
Add the strawberry puree. Whisk until combined.
Add the powdered sugar gradually until it is all combined.
Add the vanilla and enough milk to create a smooth and creamy consistency. Add the milk just 1 tablespoon at a time.
Whip until it is light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
Notes
Use just enough milk to bring the frosting together, it should be thick enough to hold onto a spoon turned upside down.
