Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl with a lid or a zipper top bag.
Let marinade for at least 10 minutes, up to overnight.
Heat grill on high heat. The temperature should be between 450º-500ºF.
Place shrimp on skewers that have been soaked in water. You can skip the skewering step, but the shrimp will fall between the grill grates more easily.
Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through.
