Combine all ingredients in a mason jar. Shake well to combine.
For the Steak Salad
Layer the sliced steak, tomatoes, and onions over the salad greens.
Crumble the cheese over the top.
Top with half of the salad dressing, serve the rest on the side.
8 ounces of steak is about 2 small steaks or 1 large steak. I use a variety of cuts for this recipe. New York strips are our favorite. Blue cheese can be substituted for gorgonzola. The amount of cheese is flexible.
