Ravioli Bake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 pound ravioli frozen, see note
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  • In a medium skillet, brown ground beef.
  • Add garlic and basil and cook for 1 more minute.
  • In an 8x8 pan, spread 1/4 cup of the sauce in the bottom of the pan.
  • Lay down one layer of ravioli.
  • Spread 1/3 of the remaining sauce on top.
  • Top with 1/3 of the mozzarella.
  • Repeat for two more layers.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake until the cheese is bubbly about 10 more minutes.

Notes

You can use frozen or fresh ravioli.
