Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups moroccan couscous
  • 1/2 cup half and half optional

Instructions

  • Bring water, butter, spices, and garlic to a boil in a saucepan. 
  • Add the couscous and mix briefly. Turn off heat. 
  • Let sit for about 5 minutes, until the couscous is soft and water is absorbed. 
  • Fluff with a fork and gently stir in half and half (optional).
