This creamy farmhouse salad dressing is tangy, flavorful, and so easy to make. It goes great on a salad with sturdy greens like romaine or iceberg lettuce.

What is creamy salad dressing made of?
Typically, most creamy salad dressings are made of a combination of sour cream and mayonnaise. This creamy dressing is no different! This savory salad dressing has the following ingredients:
- Mayonaise
- Sour cream
- Salt and pepper
- Seasonings
- Worcestershire sauce
- Enough milk to make it the consistency you like.
What can you serve this salad dressing on?
There are so many great options! My favorite is a simple wedge salad. Cut a head of iceberg lettuce into fourths, removing the core as you go. Dress the salad wedges with creamy farmhouse dressing, sprinkle with cheese and bacon bits. Easy!
I also love this farmhouse salad dressing on a house-style salad made with hearty greens like romaine and iceberg lettuce, hard-boiled eggs, carrots, and croutons.
It also makes a fantastic dip for veggies, chips, and even crakers! So many great and delicious options for serving this salad dressing.
How is farmhouse salad dressing different than ranch dressing?
This creamy salad dressing differs from homemade ranch dressing because of the seasonings and the Worcestershire sauce.
The base of both salad dressings is very similar! Making any kind of creamy salad dressing is super simple and they all start with this same base: sour cream and mayonnaise.
