While store bought mixes are super convenient, making them yourself is super easy! This allows you to control what goes in and they always taste better. Taco seasoning is just one of those things you buy in a packet. Right? WRONG! It is so simple to whip up a large batch yourself. Toss it in a mason jar and you are good to go for quite a while! I love the spice mix I use in this recipe, it’s just the right amount of heat and has a great blend of spices. The best part about making it yourself is that you can customize the flavor and spice just how you like it!
Um, talk about delicious. I use this dry rub on everything. Pork, beef, chicken, and even in salad dressings and homemade BBQ sauce to give them a little something extra. This rub is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy and totally simple to make yourself! I promise making this one will be cheaper than anything you can purchase!
